Freedom from Carbs! August 29, 2010 Darlene Polllard (CAROL STREAM, IL, US) I found this book very enlightening and resourceful. Many of the other gluten-free books I reviewed were written more for medical personnel than the average person. It does repeat some things in several sections, but all in all I found it to be worth reading and easy to follow the gluten free lifestyle.
So much to learn; but in an easy format. Very helpful! August 2, 2010 Shannon I was just recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and had to very quickly understand what it actually would mean to me and what I had to do to get better. My doctor helped some and with my insurance not covering nutritionists it was a bit overwhelming! But the book has really helped me and I also bought Eating Gluten Free for Dummies and have noticed an amazing improvement in how I feel!
A great book for the Gluten intolerant July 13, 2010 PDoreen Proctor (Sonoma, CA USA) This book is so informant that I bought an extra for a friend that does gourmet catering. She sometimes has to consider a client that has the gluten intolerance and needed a book that explains the diet and recipes.
I purchased these books from Amazon.com.
Also many books about Chickens.

My daughter has been diagnosed with Celiac and I bought this for her. The price was very good and it was like brand new without the high cost. It explained things well and was a help to her in the beginning.Easy to understand.
The ultimate GF guide June 11, 2010 Bryan T. Van Noy 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Don't let the "For Dummies" moniker fool you. Typically, you find so much mis-information online and in other published books relating to gluten-free advice, it's refreshing to read such a well-researched, vibrant, accurate, and, dare I say, inspiring game plan for embarking on a lifelong gluten-free journey. No stone is left unturned, and many myths are dispelled - with an ample dose of wit and humor.
Most gluten-free books are clinical, boring, and dry. This one is fun, whimsical, positive, and energetic. You feel like the author is truly optimistic about the gluten-free diet being the key to optimal health. No gf book I've read paints such an accurate, in-depth and rosy picture.
