 Pro-Gest works for me August 19, 2010

Emerita Pro-Gest has helped me end night sweats and PMS, so I really appreciate this. I use it for the last two weeks of my cycle (and my partner helps me remember to use it, as it makes his life much better, too). I've tried other brands of progesterone cream, which did not work as well. Limiting caffeine helps, too, but is much more difficult to do.
I did get my saliva tested, through a mail-order laboratory in North Carolina, to make sure that the night sweats are due to low progesterone. It is great to be able to take care of this myself, as doctors only prescribed the Pill, which did not work well at all, and had side effects for me.

I'm 57years old, have insomnia since about 5years(menopause). after some hormone tests, we discover that my progesterone was very low. My doctor recommanded me to use this cream, it's really a saver for me, I sleep well now and feel so much better. The price on Amazon is the best, at the healthfood store they sell it for about $45.

After the first 21 days on progest cream and the recommended non use time, I began to notice or not notice my daytime hotflashes. My night sweats have definetly decreased. Because I live in a humid climate, my day sweats were not as noticeable as my night sweats. I would throw off the sheets, waking me up and than having to go to the bathroom. I will continue to use this product as recommended on the package. Most natural products take two to three months to feel results. For all the vitamins I take, I really couldn't tell you if they did anything. This product appears to be working after the consistant use after 21 days.

I use Progesterone cream for Estrogen dominance issues and I've tried several brands. This one seems to work best for me. Although they have jacked the price up by seven dollars since I bought it several months ago. I've been trying another brand that was less expensive but I can tell a difference between the two creams. Why I don't know but this one seems to work the best for me. Remember when you begin using Progesterone cream it may take a couple of months of use to get the blood levels up, and I've seen it recommended in several places that you double the dosage for the first month. Then cut back to a normal dose. It does have to be applied every 12 hours. Rotate body areas every time you apply so the skin has a chance to refresh and absorption is unhindered.
The cream applies smoothly, and has a pleasant smell. If I forget to apply the cream my mood goes south for the rest of the day.
That's how I could tell it was working, and very well. My moods evened out, and my sleep is improved, and my brain got fog got better.
I use this cream, along with Calcium D Glucarate, DIM, and grape seed extract. This combination seems to be doing the trick for me as far as Estrogem Dominance goes.
