Absolutely incredible July 3, 2010 Gucci I'm upto my 3rd bottle of this magnificent product. I feel more energetic and getting more compliments about how good I look for my age and at pushing 50 you need to hear that. I will continue to buy this product.
Great Product June 27, 2010 KPA Without going into too many boring specifics, overall I just feel better when I take this product. I am an adult going back to a tough college and I think the resveratrol helps me stay up later and concentrate better than before I started taking it. I am also a semi-serious athlete and I think it gives me more energy to run farther and faster than before. It's almost like my lungs are using the oxygen better or something.
I don't know if it did anything to curb my appetite because my workout schedule makes me ravenous sometimes and not have an appetite at all other times, so I have no baseline to compare to, unfortunately.
And one more thing - I work in pharmaceuticals and know from our studies that resveratrol is a safe supplement.
And of course there's no way to tell if I will live longer because of it, but I can hope!
Very Disappointing June 23, 2010 Steve Rodriguez 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product was very disappoint. The advertising is a bunch of lies. There is much better resveratrol for sale out there.

I used the product just as instructed by their website. I made sure it was a hour before or after any meal. I took a high quality Fish oil (Kirkland)20 minutes before taking the pill. I am only taking 1 tablet daily and I am 290lbs so according to their site I should be taking more. I have pretty much had diarrhea every time I have taken it. I have been taking my regimen of 1 multi 1 vit D 2000mg 2 calcium 3 Kirkland fish oils daily for 3 years with no effects. The research I have found is that the ingredient Emodin is the culprit. Here is a clip from some research
So why there are so many consumers suffer from diarrhea?
Resveratrol is very safe and will not bring any uncomfortable to human body. The reason why consumers suffer from diarrhea is they take an unpurified resvaratrol from Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb also called Hu Zhang). Japanese knotweed has an ingredient called Emodin.
Emodin is a component which will bring you into diarrhea trouble. Normally, there are 5% to 7% Emodin content in 50% resveratrol product which is extracted from Japanese knotweed. There are some factories who can reduce Emodin to be only 1% content or less.
Who can reduce the Emodin? Who can reduce a risk of diarrhea problem? No matter how high or how less the emodin is, you will meet the diarrhea problem as long as emodin is still present. Not everyone will meet a diarrhea problem even he receives a content of emodin into their body since different people have different sensitivity to emodin. The best way to avoid diarrhea problem is to choose non emodin resveratrol product or a resveratrol which is extract from Grape Skin. There is no emodin present in raw grape skin. So, you don't need to worry about diarrhea problem, just enjoy the benefits resveratrol.
Here is the clip fro Bioforte's site as to the ingredients;
Based on studies done to date virtually all of the benefits of Resveratrol derive from the Trans- Resveratrol isomer. Our Bioforte product has 250mg of bio-enhanced "Trans-Resveratrol" per all-vegetable Pfizer capsule. The remaining 250mg consists of the other forms of Resveratrol including glucosides of Resveratrol, Polydatin, Emodin and other beneficial compounds naturally found in the Polygonum Cuspidatum plant.
So it would appear that Edomin is the culprit. I just wish I had done a bit more research. Anybody who wants 2 unopened bottles let me know because Amazon won't let me return the 2 bottles because my window expired on 5/1/10 on a 3/13 order. I think I will give Amazon a rest and shop elsewhere.
