Our son has Level 3 dairy allergies (intestinal reaction), and it takes him weeks to recover every time he is exposed to any product containing dairy. This happens inevitably in school, when kids "share" cookies, crackers, etc. I'm sure it's not fun to deal with a cramped stomach and a tore-up lining for weeks, and so the poor kid does not feel well, cannot sleep well, is in constant pain until he recovers, and acts out, screams, and becomes very active. The Bach's is a life saver for us as it seems to help him cope better with the pain, relaxes him, and he feels better, especially when we're out and about. It also helps him fall asleep, though it takes about an hour to work.

I bought the product for our 22-month old based on the great reviews.
We gave it to her at the start of a 3-hr road trip. She cried and screamed the first 2 hours of the trip and then fell asleep.
We gave it to her again prior to a 5-hr cross country flight. Again, she screamed for the first 2 hours and then fell asleep.
So yes, the product does cause the child to fall asleep but SHE WILL SCREAM FOR 2 HOURS BEFORE THAT.
What a garbage - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

We used this recently on a trip accross the US to see family. It was so great to know that when we had stressful moments we had a little help to unwind. It is great that it is all natural. My son had no negative reactions, and he seemed a little easier to make happy which is a big deal for a one year old in a car all day.
